Latvia Prepares for EU Pay Transparency Directive
The EU Pay Transparency Directive will be implemented across Europe by 7 June 2026. It is intended to make pay transparency the norm in order to highlight pay inequality and the reasons for this. As this directive is EU legislation, all member states are required to transpose it into their national law. Any business with more than 100 employees based in an EU member state will then need to comply with the legislation and reporting requirements for that country.
