Tom has a master's degree in law from the University of Latvia as well as more than 25 years of experience in tax, consulting and accounting area. His career began in the tax administration of Latvia. Later he practiced in customs matters in Rotterdam and worked in one of the large Big4 accounting and auditing companies as VAT and customs expert. Gained also experience in several legal and accounting offices, until eventually established his own accounting and consulting practice in Riga. Gaining new challenges and experience, now Toms together with Baker Tilly Baltics, creates new platform for providing accounting outsourcing services to SMS companies in Latvia. His extensive experience from working as a consultant helps to ensure a full range one-stop-shop services to accounting clients - something that is really needed for all companies nowadays.
